University of Central Lancashire-Partial Tuition Fee Waiver for MA courses

The School of Humanities, Language and Global Studies at the University of Central Lancashire is looking for talented students who are interested in our MA courses in Asia Pacific Studies or North Korean Studies.

The successful applicants will receive partial tuition fee waiver. The scholarship is open to any nationality.

There are six scholarships, each worth £ 3,450.

Application requirements:

  • A proposal for MA dissertation (500 words)
  • A confirmed place on either MA Asia Pacific Studies or MA North Korean Studies at the time of scholarship application
  • A good undergraduate academic performance (minimum 2:1) in any subject

Those who do not have their BA classification yet should provide their final grade upon graduation.

Applications can be made in advance of results but any award will be conditional on the above requirements being met. Please note that this is a competitive scholarship.

To apply, please send an email including the confirmation receipt of your place in the course, your 500-word proposal for the MA dissertation and the name of at least one referee, to Dr Sojin Lim (SLim4@uclan.ac.uk).

The title of the email should be “[MA Scholarship] APS/NKS (delete as appropriate) your full name”.
